We are not a large gym, but we strongly believe that is one of our best qualities. We love the fact that we are able to work with our clients in class and one-on-one in a family-type atmosphere and that our workouts can be utilized by anyone aged 16-70+. But don’t let our family atmosphere give you the wrong impression! Our workouts are designed to challenge you no matter what fitness level you are at!

We offer up to 12 classes per week. Classes are full of energy and planned so that all you need to do is show up and be ready to start. Classes are 45 minutes in length and incorporate different types of equipment with the use of everything from kettlebells, dumbbells, battle ropes, bosu balls and much more.We also push you to use your own body weight in a variety of unique, challenging and fun exercises.

Our Classes

Cardio Kickboxing
Corefit Cardio Kickboxing is a co-ed class that will challenge anyone looking to up their cardiovascular fitness through punching, kicking and body calisthenics. This class age ranges from 14-70+. CoreFit Cardio Kickboxing classes are designed so that any fitness level can join and feel great throughout the workout and energized when finished. You will learn how to do the exercises correctly, including punching and kicking techniques. You will be introduced to different combinations and exercises that will make you sweat and have fun while doing it. Students will use a variety of gear in these classes including focus mitts, kicking shields and heavy bags, all of which are supplied by our facility for your training needs. Participants are free to train in bare feet on our mated flooring or if preferred can wear indoor training shoes that are non-marking and not worn outside. 
CoreFit Conditioning
Corefit Conditioning Classes are functional fitness classes. The classes are co-ed and are designed so that any fitness level can participate and achieve results. If its your time to start changing your lifestyle through health and fitness, then we have the classes for you! Corefit Conditioning Classes utilize a variety of different types of equipment including but not limited too TRX, battle ropes, free weights, plyo-boxes, slam balls, kettlebell, body weight exercises and much much more! Classes are designed so that every time you come to train with us the class will be done a little different. This helps keep you mentally engaged in our workouts and keeps you from physically plateauing and not attaining your goals. No boring or mundane gym routines here! Our goal is to make sure you are always challenged and achieve the results you want from combining your effort and our expertise. You will find our instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and always available and eager to help you achieve all your training goals.
TRX
TRX classes are just that TRX! You will be challenged more than you could ever imagine from using this simple training mechanism. You will enjoy workouts that compliment and challenge your entire body with an emphasis on using your core throughout your entire workout. Classes are taught in a co-ed group setting that is no larger than 12 people at a time. If you are already training why not add this class into your regime and see the results you can achieve through the addition of one piece of equipment? It’s easy to use and very versatile and suitable for any fitness level. This class also focuses on good form and proper technique. TRX is for beginners through advanced fitness enthusiasts and we will make sure your workout is a challenge for you no matter what level you are at. Our TRX classes happen throughout the year and are sometimes mixed with other corefit exercises to help keep the class new and challenging.
Group, Team & Private Training
Group Training and Sport Team training: Do you have a small group that you would like to see benefit from our trainers and coaches? We will listen to your needs and design program-specific training for your group or small team. We have the equipment needed and space to accommodate class and team sizes up to 25. Please contact us for more details on our group and sport team training. Pricing is based on class size and number of classes needed.   Private Training: Private training is available through any of our trainers and is a great way to get an edge on your workouts. Our trainers are there and available throughout the day, evenings and weekends for your training convenience. Private training can also help identify inconsistences in training or disproportional problems with strength and functional body movement. Learning how to keep your left and right side in balance or your upper and lower body working together is very important and will help reduce the risk of injury. Our trainers can design specific programming for you related to your specific training. Personal training rates are available in a variety different packages and options. James Fries

James Fries has been training in martial arts and fitness for over twenty-nine years. He began training in martial arts & fitness at the age of 16 studying Goju Ryu karate and training at various fitness facilities.

James developed an interest in fitness and health from a young age understanding the importance of staying in great shape in order to do martial arts and also to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Having dealt with serious back injuries and growing up with cystic fibrosis, fitness and martial arts have always had an important and positive role in James’s overall training and health.

James is certified through the ISSA as a personal fitness trainer and has previously completed the martial arts conditioning coach certification through the ISSA. James continues to train and grow and has become certified to teach kettlebell and TRX.

James continues to learn and teach to help people understand how to do exercise properly, safely and also to help energize people to live a healthy and strong lifestyle.

James is the head trainer and developer for CoreFit Conditioning and oversees all programming.

Bill LaCelle

Bill LaCelle  began his athletic life as a Kiwanis Football player and continued thru to playing Semi-pro ball in Toronto. He has coached several teams of different ages and levels in the Kiwanis Football League. He holds several belts in martial art styles which include Judo, Hapkido and Goju Ryu. Mid 80’s to the early 90’s saw him engulfed in the world of body building and his sights were set for a Masters Competition. Sadly a medical condition kept him from realizing this dream.

Like many, life required Bills attention elsewhere and his fitness fell to the wayside. After years of distraction left him overweight and stressed out he made the choice to fight back and regain his fitness, health and happiness. This journey has taken him through a variety of obstacle races and later into Triathlon.

Bill has always valued the benefits of Corefit classes, eventually taking him from student to instructor. This has inspired him to take steps forward in continuing his education in the field of physical fitness. Bill currently is a certified YMCA Weight Lifting Instructor, ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and a TRX Instructor.

Brian is an ISSA certified fitness instructor and personal trainer.  Through dedicated training and hardwork, Brian has achieved his 1st degree black belt in Goju Ryu karate. He continues to train and teach at Heritage Martial Arts and Fitness Centre, as well as CoreFit. He enjoys teaching cardio kickboxing and Corefit Conditioning classes in addition to private personal training sessions.

Mitchell Nice

Mitchell has been involved in athletics since he was little, playing hockey for most of his childhood, but really became passionate about fitness training in 2009. Having done Karate for twelve years, Mitchell understands how important living a healthy lifestyle is and has been training in the Corefit program since its inception, recently moving into an instructor role and gaining his ISSA Personal Training Certificate. Before Corefit, Mitchell has been involved in many different fitness projects, including the Kid Fit Cardio program and the Eastwood Collegiate Physical Education Leadership team. Mitchell’s classes are intense, full of energy and usually accompanied by a loud playlist! When Mitchell isn’t training  he is usually at home reading a book, hanging out with his dog Harley Quinn, or talking about Spider-Man to anyone who will listen.
